What If… Iron Man Crashed into the Grandmaster?

What If...? is one of those projects everyone wants to work on. Marvel for Disney Plus, with characters half the world knows. For me it was a dream, so when the opportunity came, I took it.

The tricky part was how I had to work. I did it over VPN, from Bogotá, connected to a computer that was sitting in Canada. The distance showed, and everything depended on the connection. I bought the best internet you could get in the city at the time, and even then there was always a lag. Animating characters of this caliber without seeing the playback properly was a test of patience and resilience.

I spent close to a year delivering what they needed. It was demanding, the kind of project that teaches you as much about the craft as about yourself. I dove into the world of Marvel, which I didn't know that well, and came out really grateful.
